Jason and John grew up on the water, right here on the Connecticut coastline. Having had successful careers in corporate America, we decided to pool our allowances and start a business that would take us back to our passion...being on the water!

The Boat Wash was created to help recreational boaters complete their chores and gain more time to navigate the seas, refine sailing skills, and catch that fish that almost got away. Some of our very best memories were made on the Sound and we know yours will be too.

This is why it is so important that we all do our part to preserve our beautiful Long Island Sound. The Boat Wash's mission is to be the best darn deck swabs on the Sound and to support other local waterfront business and nonprofit causes dedicated to keeping our local waters clean and safe for future generations to enjoy.
